Kenyan-Heart partners with UEFA and WHF to "Make a Healthy Heart your Goal"!

Kenyan-Heart National Foundation (KHNF) through World Heart Federation (WHF) was privileged to be granted the mandate by UEFA, to run the initiative “Make a Healthy Heart your Goal” with a special focus on Girls and the youth in Kenya. It is a FIRST in East Africa.

July / 2014

  • - WHF/UEFA funded Football Tournament on Saturday 12th July 2014.

Kenyan-Heart National Foundation's (KHNF) rheumatic heart disease (RHD) prevention program has received the 2011 Louise Lown Heart Hero Award from ProCor and the Lown Cardiovascular Research Foundation.

The Kenyan-Heart National Foundation's (KHNF) Rheumatic Heart Disease (RHD) Prevention Program, funded by DANIDA and in Partnership with the Danish Heart Foundation has received the 2011 Louise Lown Heart-Hero Award from ProCor and the Lown Cardiovascular Research Foundation. Through various local initiatives like the “Kenyan-Heart Talking Walls” in Schools, the “Kenyan-Heart Training Seminars” , “Kenyan-Heart Clubs”, “Kenyan-Heart Kitchen Gardens”, plus other outreach efforts, Kenyan-Heart teaches thousands of people every year, how to Prevent RHD.
